Sinai Cemetery, Neshoba Co, MS.  He married (2) Caroline Jane Tullos Bet. 1865 - 186613. She was born 22 Apr 1836 in Mississippi14,15, and died 26 Jan 1890 in Neshoba   Burial: Linwood Cemetery, Neshoba Co, MS.

Neshoba Democrat - August 3, 1934: Soloman Mason was a good and useful citizen. He owned and operated a good farm near where McDonald now is. He also owned and operated a horse mill and gin which later was turned into a water mill and gin. One among the first mills the writer ever visited was this old water mill. He ginned the cotton and ground the corn and wheat for his neighbors for miles around Some 35 years ago he joined that innumerable host that had gone on before and his body sleeps in the cemetery hard by awaiting the resurrection. He has a large number of children, grandchildren scattered here and there to keep alive his name and memory. Mississippi profitte by the coming of Isacc Mason to her more than a century ago.

James F. Cook notes: Solomon Mason, born in Richmond County, NC, was the son of Isaac Mason and Rebecca Everett. He first married a Watkins in North Carolina. His second wife was Caroline Jane Tullos Watkins. Her first husband died about the same time as Solomon Mason's first wife -- Caroline Watkins' husband and Solomon Mason's wife were brother and sister. After their deaths, Solomon married his sister-in-law. Solomon Mason's home was the home later owned and lived in by Uncle Warren Mason and his wife, Aunt Bertha, Ruby Nicholson Mason. The house was demolished in the 1960's or 1970's.
