Munford Cemetery Isle of Wight Co, VA Photos courtesy of Chuck Rippel
The final resting place for the Nathan Munford family was located by a friend whose interest lies not in cemeteries, but in train photography. In his quest to capture the essence of locomotive artistry Chuck sometimes stumbles upon vestiges of the past. Such is the case with his discovery of the Munford family, who lie in rural Isle of Wight (VA) county near the railroad tracks. The location is the corner of Yellow Hammer & Barrett Town Roads, off Route 641 between Windsor & Zuni. Cemetery Photographed February 17, 2002. |
