Brittingham's Cemetery Accomack Co, VA
It was a breath of fresh air in the midst on a trip to New York City. When I pulled in to fill up with gasoline at the last convenience store in Virginia, I spotted on the hill behind the station a beautiful cemetery. The location is the east side of Highway 13 behind the Royal Farms Convenience Store / Enroy Gasoline Station. There is a road that runs beside the cemetery from the main highway, which is probably the address for the cemetery. But since I entered by climbing the hill behind the gasoline station I missed the cemetery entrance. This is absolutely the end of Virginia's Eastern Shore. Immediately past the road running beside the store is the Maryland State Line. Cemetery Photographed October 1, 2004. |
