West Brookfield The town hall is an architectural gem that compels one to explore further. Turning down the street beside the town hall leads one to an ancient cemetery, equally as picturesque as the town hall. Its a town that should be captured in time and never allowed to change or deteriorate. But this place holds much more significance than just its beauty. Three hundred years earlier men and women walked these same paths whose descendants eventually moved to Westmoreland, NH, then to Scioto Co, OH. The descendants of these West Brookfield pioneers are my husband and son. This is an ancestral homeland - a place that contributed to what my family is today. We are more complete for having visited. |
