> I am looking for information re. my Scottish ancestors who settled in Princess Anne in the early 1700s. . My distant > ancestor was James Nimmo m. to Johnson. He immigrated from Scotland. I'd love to find information on the Hillary Cone family. Mary Francis Cone married James Nimmo in the mid 1800s. They lived in her family home in Virginia Beach. It was called Oak Dale Farm. I believe the farm was sold and used for horses and then sold to make way for condos. > > > Jane Hubbard >

hey i was trying to trace my riddicks again...can never get very far on them....i have a james riddick married to a christian eason (they had a son named Solomon Riddick b. 1840) and they are from hobbsville, nc (around the gates county area)....they are my g-g-g-g grandparents... i was just wondering if you might know anything at all about this christian eason? if not that's ok, i haven't found much on her either. but i just thought i'd ask, it sure looks like you've put a lot of work into this site...i like it, and i like 'sally's family place' too...they're both good. i've actually gotten some good leads from her site, so hopefully this will work out for me too... anyway, thank you for your time. melanie ![]()

Hi. Your Greensville Co., VA Johnson line intrigues me. Littleton Johnson (my g-g-g grandfather)lived 1784-1834. His sister Martha Johnson married Levi Joy in Greensville County, VA circa 1820. These folks died in Bolivar, TN. Littleton & Martha had a brother William Johnson who lived in or near Selma, Al. Ever run into a Littleton Johnson in your VA research? Best wisheds for 2009. You have one great site.

My newest grandson Brayden Richard Harrell's mother was Angie Boler the daughter of Richard Boler. These descended from Wesley Boler in your works. Your work has been magnificant. I have been only working on my grandson's Boler for about four months. The stuff in in your work has been very informative and has allowed me to confirm some ties that I found elsewhere. Your references aere unbelievable. Great detail of the sources you are using. I love that. WOW!

We talked together Tuesday (Sept. 16,2008) in Danville. I enjoyed our conversation and could not wait to look up your site. I've spent hours on the site and found it wonderful. Thank you so much for your help and information on Tuesday and thank you for leading me to your site. This is the best private site I have visited on the internet. You share so much information that after spending hours on the site, I look forward to spending more hours exploring all the toggles. Thank you, Dolores - Shenandoah River
