I would like to tell you that the history of this house Inn. , is in the boler family for a long , long time. We bring it up on our family reunions. My ralstives in Mississippi are still there. Our name was Boulier. To Boler. Somewhere down the line the spelling slowly changes. One day I will go to Mississippi and find them. Give me luck, :D

I am interested in contacting whomever did the Hail/Hale geneology for the family that moved from Halifax NC to Montgomery County Tennessee sometime between 1790 and 1820 I believe. I trace my roots directly to a Benjamin Nicholas Hale in Montgomery Tennessee ab 1880.

I really like your pages and appreciate all your hard work in researching the Brakhage family. My husband, Ron Brakhage descends from Rev. Wilhelm Brakhage in Indiana and Nebraska. I have books of letters from other Brakhage family members that I have collected in my search of Brakhage genealogy for 40+ years. I also worked with Gene Wengert on the family history. Wishing you the best.

Carol,
Thank you for the MORTON family history. It was a like finding a gold nugget, as I knew nothing about my family before my grandfather. My great grandfather is listed on page 5 of your wonderful document. Looks like we have a boat load of cousins out there somewhere.
Regards. wbm

I sure do appreciate you making all of your research available online. If has been a huge help in locating our ancestors. I hail from the McDonald's of Neshoba, MS who helped to start the Old Carolina Presbyterian Church and Cemetery. I wish I could go back in time and talk to my ancestors, to learn more about them.

Hello Carol,

I am conducting research for a colleague in Italy who recently came across B-42 American bomber wreckage while hiking in the Dolomite mountains of northeastern Italy. He has identified most of the crew who were lost when the plane was shot down by Nazi fighters, and together I am working with him to put a face and story to all the crew members who were lost that day, December 19th 1943.

I am looking for any information you may be able to provide me on the civilian and/or military life of Alan T. Bennett. He is included on your list of fallen WWII men from the Union country area. Also, you note that Alan's nephew is Dr. Jim Bennett. Perhaps you could put me in contact with this Dr. Bennett.

Thank you for all your help.

I have very little information on my great grandfather James C. Stacey. All my grandmother, his youngest daughter, knew of him was that he came from the mountains and she wasn't sure which ones. James C Stacey married Elnora Driggers/Peele in Marlboro County, SC and is buried in the Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetary in Bennettsville, SC. His death certifcate lists his father as James Stacey and mother Harriett (Sweat or Surratt). If you have any information or leads you can share I would be so grateful. Thank you for allowing me on your guest book. Terry

Carol, thank you so much for making your Walton Family research available for all of us to see. John Walton and Sarah McMillin are my maternal 4th Great Grandparents (my family line is John/Sarah---> James B. Walton---> Caroline Lewis Walton---> Thomas Luther Germany---> Andrew Germany---> Nadine Germany---> myself) and your information/research on the Walton family cleared up a lot of confusion for me about who John Walton's parents may have been, and who they were not. I noticed your site stops my family line at Thomas Luther Germany. Please let me know if you would like my genealogical information from Thomas Germany to the present. Again, thank you so much for being so generous with posting your research. Your work was a great help.
