Wonderful site. I am a descendant of Sambo, the slave owned by Alexander Sherard. My research indicates that Sambo had a son named Jesse, who was a slave on William and Phoebe Sherard's plantation. Jesse was my g-g-grandfather. Thank you for sharing your family information.

I found your site by researching for my Great Grandparents history. I know very little of that side of the family so I hope that perhaps you can give me some more insight. I was wondering if you found or how you found information of the Frase's. There really is not anyone left that I can ask questions or that wil help me out. I'm the only one in the family that seems to care about geneology, as noone has really ever asked. So any help or information would be great. Thank you for your time, I appreciate it.

Thank you for putting together this website. I found it as my son and I were doing some genealogy research for a school project and it provided some interesting information on my Cole family relatives.

Thank you for this site. I learned a lot. I am a direct descendant of David H. Payne and Zemley Bramlett Brown through their daughter Miriam C. Payne. If you have any additional information or even pictures of the above named or their families it would be very appreciated. I will be happy to help you with any information I have, but I fear you know more about the Paynes than I do.

It was exciting to see the fantastic development of your site. We chatted 8 years ago about Brakhage, Burre and how the -en was added to a name to make is feminine and how the name often went with the inheritance of land, etc. I wish I was as organized and creative as you are. If I am correct, you are my wife's 3rd cousin, 1x removed.

It has been 2 or 3 years since I have looked into Carol's House. A lot has happened since then. I was origanlly from Dixon, and Robert Mills was my mail-carrier. The Benson family will have a centennial reunion at our old hme-place over the July 4th week-end, Route 1, Union, Ms. Looking forward to being back in Mississippi again. Jope all is well at Carol's House.

Hello, My name is Joseph Neal. I am son of Donald Neal, Grandson of Wando Lawnson Neal, and Great Grandson of Arnold Neal. I saw you had some Neal family History. Thanks for sharing what you found. I saw that you stated that none of the Neal family live on Twenty Mile near vaughn. No one lives on the farm (the old home place), but plenty of family live in Vaughn and surronding areas. I was raised in the Mountains of WV. I love to visit home. I am now a resident of SC.
