Breaking News - The location of Nicholas Ruppel's birth (Hopfgarten, Hessen) has been located in the Second German Evangelical Lutheran Church record of the birth of one of his children.  That town is very close to Alsfeld, where Carl Ruppel was born.  Some, but not all, family burials are in the same Baltimore Cemetery.  The plot thickens!!!!
