The Deal family sits in a field located Northwest of Deal's Grocery on Land of Promise Road. The location is the rural southern section of the independent city of Chesapeake, VA. Near the Deal plot is a stream surrounded by trees. On the opposite side of the stream lies a vine covered raised area which contains the lone tombstone of Annie R. Humphreys Vann.
